my granddad Brian sent me these poems  from one of my ansestors that I was named after called charlotte grace O'Brien. here is one...










Birds
carolling,carolling to greet the warm spring day
in the early morn admit the morning dew
or when evenings flush over heavens blue,
the merry birds are singing all so gay
the black birds whistling thrill, the thrushes grey
the linnet's softer song, the far cuckoo
the bull flinch, the golden flinch and the robin true
sweet music lost to me for aye!
to me the hidden nests are revealed
I saw the tender leaflets gently stirred
the lovely goldfinch home was not concealed were corn cakes lay I fed the soft shy bird
I tracked the brbwn wrens to there winter rest
and stroked the bullfinch mother on her nest

welcome back to my blog! This week for our tasks we have to share with you what we want to do when we are bigger. I could chose to be all these fancy jobs but I chose to be a farmer. I would like to have horses and ride them in the morning and heard the cows to a different paddock. I would love to own a horse that is a liver chestnut. these are all the animals on my future farm.

vanuatu!!

hello,

For my holiday me and my family went to Vanuatu. we stayed at a place called Nasama Resort. we had delicious food and we experienced some amazing things. Like how we saw some fire dancers on the beach. So amazing!! I also went on a really cool horse trek. then for the first time ever I rode bare back and swam with my horse in the lagoon! it was the best time ever! the Vanuatu people have restored the island very well, but there was still a lot of damage.

art week

a few weeks ago the whole school did a art week my class based our room on the sky. I did some o2 masks. I also did lots of birds. it was such a fun week! the room looks really cool, we based it on a plane and we had our seats in rows to look like a plane.


I had a lot of fun making the birds and trees.

Welcome back to my blog. A few weeks ago my class made some emotion poems. I had to choose one poem to share with you but i could not decide which poem, so here's them both:

Sadness
sadness is the feeling of a loss of life
It is the feeling of a plane disappearing down a valley
It is the sight of a animal falling, falling
 It is the smell of blood, the wounded
It is the tears washing a face
It is the last cry
It is sadness

Then I have one more...

Joy
Joy is tearing of the wrapping of a present
It is the feeling of a victory
It is the feeling of having a family
To bring you hope and faith
To fill your hart with love
It is the summer drowning the winter
It is the spring lambs
Jumping and thriving on the green grass
It is joy

I like these poems because they make you fell sad or joy.

Starry night

Hello and welcome to my new blog post, this time I will be talking about my favourite artist.  My favourite artist is a person called Vincent van Gogh. He did some amazing paintings. His most famous painting is called starry night. he was born on march 30 1853 in the Netherlands. Then he died when he was 37 in 1890 the 29th of July. He was known for drawing and doing paintings.

I hope you have had a great last week. This week is going to be a week full of birthdays. Also on Wednesday there is a thing called the Regional sports fest. You chose what sport you want to do. I chose to play ping pong, or table tennis as some people call it. I am doing it with two other year 7 girls in my school called Katie and Jennifer. The boy year 7 team is  made of three kids, William, James and Haveesha. It is going to be so much fun! I really want to have fun not be focusing on winning. But I still want to win!




It was a great success! I won 3 games myself but we came last in the real contest. It was really fun to be with my friends having a really fun time!  I would really like to do ping pong next year if there is a sports fest for next year.
