one more year...

there is one more year untill i am going to collage. it is alittle scary! but since i am not going to collage i have to talk about how nervous and excited i am about next year.

well the big 8. it may not look that big but it is really alittle bit too big. this means that i will be 13 next year and that is rather daunting. but you do have to think about going to camp and getting to sit on chairs in Assembly. also we do have to be sensible all the time... you never know when a teacher is watching you!

have the time of your life in the weekend,
see you in the soup!

books books and more books!

Kate de Goldi's book and my favourite!
for these past 2 weeks it has been book week. we have had to do many things and we had to choose some of our favourite things that we did.

Kate De Goldi came into the school to talk about her books. it was so fun. she even showed us her books from when she was young! it was also really cool to hear her read her lolly Leopold. she also told us that all of herb main characters are based on the same person. also she told us that her favourite book is her new book. ( I have it!! my mum gave it to me!!)

Also one of my favourites was the parade. everyone had to dress up as someone out of a book. there were all sorts, from tintin to frozen. I was the white bunny from Alice in wonderland. lots of people won prizes for most real, most creative and so on.it was really fun!!

what was also really fun was the tasks we had to do. me and my best friend made an Alice in wonderland scene. that was really fun, we have figures  an a hole and the bunny and the daisy field. my teacher quite likes it.

these weeks have been some of the most fun weeks of the year,
see you next time!

bubbles and old cars...

When I was younger I used to love love  a book called Bubble Trouble  by Margaret Mahy. this was one dream I had to blow my brother away and never come back, I would often think this when he was being reeaalllyy annoying. It is such a great book. I highly recommended it.

When I was a little bit older around 6 I had a new favorite, rattle trap car. I always wanted to be those kids and I used to ( and still do) think that the baby was so smart!! I highly recommend this book.

See you next week!
