ping pong...

Hi


I hope you have had a great last week. This week is going to be a week full of birthdays. Also on Wednesday there is a thing called the Regional sports fest. You chose what sport you want to do. I chose to play ping pong, or table tennis as some people call it. I am doing it with two other year 7 girls in my school called Katie and Jennifer. The boy year 7 team is  made of three kids, William, James and Haveesha. It is going to be so much fun! I really want to have fun not be focusing on winning. But I still want to win!




It was a great success! I won 3 games myself but we came last in the real contest. It was really fun to be with my friends having a really fun time!  I would really like to do ping pong next year if there is a sports fest for next year.

for this weeks school tasks I had to do a blog post on which new flag I should have the spot of new Zealand's new flag. I have actually chosen that we should have no new flag. I have my reasons to,


1. the Anzacs fought under the old flag
2.the flag is good enough
3. It will be lots of money to change it and new Zealand needs to focus on Christchurch in stead of a new flag.

so I do really think that New Zealand should not have a new flag.

Art skills

My favourite type of art is using chalk pastel on a black piece of paper. I t looks amazing when it has finished. I also enjoy doing paint, but it is very hard to master properly. At school I love to sketch the hills and trees.  I really enjoy doing art and I really like to do little doodles when I am bored. I draw the best when I am not under pressure. I also love to draw horses and other animals. the are so hard to get right!

So to sum it up, I love to draw!

I would invite these people to my house for dinner because they are champions in my view. The first person I chose is a champion horse rider. It is: Sam Griffiths!!
